A New Edition to the Family

Easter 2008

Ian followed a jelly bean trail that started outside his bedroom and down the hall to find his Easter basket goodies. There was plenty of candy, a few toys, and a rabbit he quickly named Harry (not sure if that name will stick yet). Pardon the wardrobe in this picture - we had an issue with his pj bottoms.

In Nashville With 'My Cousins"

Here Ian is with older cousins Cohen and Rachel as they play a Lego Star Wars video game. He has a controller and thinks he is playing along but really isn't. He is happy and has no idea. Note the pilot helmet he wears while he gets into his character! He was in cousin heaven during this visit!

Our First Snowman

The snow was just right today for snowman building. So we headed out and built a new friend. The goal was to make him at least as tall as Ian, but Mom got tired of building!!!

First Snow Angel

We got our second big snow in St Louis, around 8 inches. Ian was SO excited about getting out and making his first snow angel. We tried for a snowman too....but the snow was too dry and wouldn't stick. Maybe tomorrow, stay tuned!

Visit to Owensboro

We spent the weekend in Owensboro with good friends John, Jill and their little boy Declan. Here the boys are hanging out at the children's museum. Ian tried to ride this dinosaur like a horse just after the picture! We had a great time.

Christmas Morning

Here you see Ian making his way downstairs on Christmas morning. Among his favorite new toys - an astronaut helmet (with sounds) and Star Wars figurines. It was a good holiday full of family and fun!

It Snowed!!!

We got a bit of snow in St Louis overnight. Luckily - Ian recently got a new snowsuit from his Nana. He was ready. He 'helped' his Dad shovel off the driveway and front walkway. The big smile here came about just after Dad threw a shovel full of snow at him! Silly boys!

Breakfast With Santa

Ian had breakfast with Santa at Macy's in downtown St Louis today. The morning was full of fun with Frosty the snowman, some elves and reindeer, even magicians and a big sing and dance along show. Merry Christmas!

First Game at Neyland Stadium

Ian got the chance to go to a good ole SEC football match up at Neyland Stadium with both of his grandfathers! He was totally into it during the first half and also for the halftime show. Although he didn't understand, he cheered on the Vols with 'Go Defense' and 'Yeah - Touchdown'. Football is hard work for a little guy and he needed his rest. He curled up in Mom's lap and slept through the second half!
